Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out principles followed by Hello Photo to protect personal information that you provide to Hello Photo.

Hello Photo will use reasonable endeavours to protect your privacy and to make your online interaction and shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.

What we collect

Hello Photo may collect names, email addresses, addresses, phone numbers relevant to photo order processing and/or offers. Hello Photo also stores and maintains images. Hello Photo will make photos available online during the ordering window. While we aim to keep images accessible online for a period after the ordering window for customer convenience, availability after orders have been fulfilled is not guaranteed. Images are stored and maintained on encrypted hard drives for backup purposes and can be retrieved upon customer request. We aim to retain images on backup drives for approximately two years, after which they will be deleted. However, there is no guarantee that photos will be stored or retrievable from backup drives.

You may request at any time to have Hello Photo permanently delete any or all personal information and images of your family members (other than class group images).

What we do with the information we gather

Hello Photo collects information necessary to process orders, manage your account, send reminders and, if you agree, send you offers related to our products & services. This information is held on password protected storage media.

Hello Photo will not sell or lease your personal information to third parties. Other than for class group photos, which may be made available for sale to other families within your child’s centre, Hello Photo will not publish or release to the public any images of your family members without receipt of your prior consent.

If you purchase a product from Hello Photo using an online payment method, your card information is not retained by Hello Photo but it is collected by a third party payment processor (stripe.com) who specialise in the secure encrypted online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

Security

Individual images will be made available to you on a password protected website gallery with industry standard security.

If class group images are produced by Hello Photo these will be made available to you and other families within your child’s centre on a password protected website gallery with industry standard security. Hello Photo will disclose such password only to the relevant centre staff management and families within your child’s centre. Hello Photo cannot accept responsibility if such password is disclosed to a member of the public by any of the relevant centre staff management or families within your child’s centre.

Any information provided over the internet can never be guaranteed totally secure. As a result, while Hello Photo endeavours to protect your personal information, it cannot guarantee the internet security of any information shared, and you do so at your own risk.
